about
Edie Cantrill, born and raised in Southeast London, works across painting, textiles, tiles, and found materials to examine female identity through the lens of her lived experience. Intimacy and sexuality are central to her practice, often layered with darker undertones that unsettle and provoke. Cantrill’s work challenges how images are read, understood, and internalised, leaving space for the viewers to construct their own narratives beyond the frame. She completed her MA in Fine Art at The Glasgow School of Art in 2024.
